In his speech, Joe Biden thanked his teams, his loved ones, but also those who had replaced him in the race for the White House, Kamala Harris. “She was very inspiring during this campaign (…) we can be proud of her,” argued the American president.

“Every day must count, it’s our responsibility to American citizens,” he said at the conclusion of his speech. “We lost this battle, but the United States of your dreams will rise again.
