Host Joe Rogan, whose podcast is the most listened to in the world on the Spotify platform, declared Monday to support Donald Trump, on the eve of the American presidential election.

The popular comedian, regularly accused of relaying conspiracy theories, made this announcement on X (formerly Twitter), in a message with a link to his latest show: a conversation with Elon Musk.

“The great and powerful @elonmusk. If he wasn’t here, we’d be in trouble. He makes in my opinion the most compelling case for Trump and I agree with him every step of the way. FYI, yes, this is support for Trump. Enjoy the podcast,” he wrote.

American polling stations will open on Tuesday after a heated electoral campaign, particularly in the seven key states, crucial to deciding between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.

“I just learned that Joe Rogan has just given me his support,” said the Republican candidate in the process, during a rally in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, one of these pivotal states.

“He is not the type of person to support (a candidate),” added the former head of state. “I just want to thank Joe Rogan, it’s fantastic.”

Many stars and personalities have shown their support for Kamala Harris, such as Taylor Swift and Beyoncé. Barack and Michelle Obama held major rallies for the Democratic vice president.

Donald Trump was able to count on Elon Musk. The boss of SpaceX, Tesla and X campaigned hard, with tens of millions of dollars, messages on his social network and in-person question-and-answer sessions.

He had planned one online on Monday, but canceled it due to technical problems, after trying to give the floor to four voters.

“Instead, I recommend you listen to this discussion about the election I had today with Joe Rogan,” he said on X.

The two men talk about video games, disinformation and elections, among other things.

“We are making good progress in Pennsylvania. I participated in meetings in this state, because it is Pennsylvania which will decide the outcome of the election,” says Elon Musk in particular during the interview.

Donald Trump himself spoke with Joe Rogan last week. During three hours of podcast, he returned to his journey with a lot of anecdotes and digressions, without being interrupted or challenged by the host.
