Paris: traffic on the ring road disrupted again this Friday

Cuts are expected this Friday, June 7 on several sections of the Paris ring road.

At issue: several trips by Joe Biden, currently visiting France.

TF1info takes stock of these temporary cuts.

In the current security context, Joe Biden’s trip to France is taking place in a very controlled manner. In this context – and while the Head of State travels back and forth towards Normandy – special measures are taken regarding traffic. This is particularly the case in Paris, where sections of the ring road will be cut this Friday.

Motorists who wish to bypass the capital will in some cases have to adapt their route. Indeed, a cut in the ring road is expected between Porte d’Asnières and Porte d’Orléans. She should operate on this section between 2:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., then from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Disturbances until Sunday

The end of the disruptions is expected on Sunday, following a new closure expected at the end of the morning. As Joe Biden is expected at Orly to leave France, the west of the ring road should be inaccessible between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

The announcement of these cuts will perhaps make it possible to avoid significant paralysis of the road network. This Thursday, April 6, a series of closures caused massive traffic jams, partly caused by the lack of information provided to drivers in advance.
