The players of the Blancs-Coteaux football club who play in Regional 2 in Marne will have special viewers. Residents of the Paul Gérard nursing home will be able to watch local club matches on giant screen in the main hall of the residence. An idea that came from the Marne referee Bastien Courbet, who officiates in Ligue 2 and whose grandfather is one of the residents.
The broadcast, via an application, should begin within one to two weeks, first on delay then live later. It is a camera that will be installed at height and will provide a complete view of the terrain. Some residents will therefore see amateur footballers evolve and among them relatives. Josiane's grandson, Noé, plays at FC Côte des Blancs, “I’m going to watch the matches for him” she explains, “I don’t know his position but I’m going to learn”.

Christelle Dambrines is responsible for animation within the nursing home, for her it is a way of creating social and family bond : “it’s true that watching little children on TV on Sunday is an idea of sharing, to create a bond”. Around the broadcast of the match, the nursing home team will produce an animation to follow club news.
“We bring outside life into the nursing homedetails Christelle Dambrines, it helps show that residents are active and that they are not isolated in the nursing home.” The nursing home's next project would also be to allow residents to attend at pitchside matches.
