The 2024 American presidential campaign, which will end on November 5, is one of the most exciting races experienced by Nicole Gagnon, a Quebecer who resides in the United States.

The resident of North Carolina, one of the key states in the crosshairs of Democrat Kamala Harris and Republican Donald Trump, believes that her state is no stranger to twists and turns on the political scene.
“We have a race for governor that still made the national scene with Mark Robinson, who made controversial statements […] Then, obviously, Trump, Harris,” she said during an interview with LCN on Friday.
The latter is one of the 57 million American citizens who voted. Mme Gagnon, who obtained the right to vote in 2014, considers this participation to be positive.
“I think it’s a good sign […] Most people I know have all already voted early. Even the Republicans [l’ont fait]. Republicans are less likely to vote in advance. But this year, the Republicans I know also voted in advance,” she said.
