These statements follow the publication by the Spanish press, during the week, of a report from the Civil Guard which places the former confidant and ex-minister of Pedro Sanchez Sanchez, José Luis Abalos, at the center of a corruption scandal regarding the purchase of protective masks during the pandemic.
