The question came to me when I saw students from the Free University of Brussels (ULB) vehemently opposing the arrival of Israeli intellectual Elie Barnavi to a debate on their campus on June 3. It turns out that I also have to participate in this round table entitled “Israel-Palestine, where are we going?” » ; so I am concerned. The historian Vincent Lemire, former director of the French Research Center in Jerusalem, and Elena Aoun, professor at the Catholic University of Louvain, are also scheduled for the debate.
