On the red carpet, this Thursday, May 23, Catherine Deneuve appeared in pants topped with a black and gold dress.
As usual, Catherine Deneuve caused a sensation on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival. The 80-year-old actress was present for the screening of “L’amour ouf” by Gilles Lellouche presented in competition this Thursday, May 23. This romantic comedy intertwined with a thriller in the running for the Palme d’Or tells the story of two young people who fall madly in love. While life will try to separate them, they will always end up finding each other again. In the title roles, the filmmaker brought together Adèle Exarchopoulos and François Civil, who already played together in “Bac Nord” by Cédric Jimenez. And the supporting roles are no less impressive. Thus, we also find Benoît Poelvoorde, Alain Chabat, Elodie Bouchez, Jean-Pascal Zadi and Vincent Lacoste on the bill. If she is not starring in the film, Catherine Deneuve, a great fan of French cinema, made the trip.
A timeless look
The actress was therefore dressed in a straight dress with long sleeves decorated with some gold sequin details as well as on the front of the outfit. Under her slit dress at the front, the one who was Yves Saint Laurent’s muse wore black pants and a pair of black pumps topped with a square buckle. For her accessories, the star of “Eight Women” stayed in gold with imposing bracelets, a ring and a pair of hoop earrings. In terms of beauty, Catherine Deneuve adopted her timeless blow-dry, brown lips and a smoky look.
