EVACUATION ORDER
The Israeli army issued a new order to evacuate areas of southern Beirut during the night from Wednesday to Thursday, announcing probable strikes against Hezbollah. “You are near Hezbollah-related installations and interests, against which the Israeli army will act in the near future,” she said in a statement, pointing to buildings located in the Shiite areas of Haret. NASRALLAH’S SON-IN-LAW KILLED
The son-in-law of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, assassinated by Israel last week in a strike on the party’s stronghold in the suburbs of Beirut, was killed in an Israeli raid which left three people dead on Wednesday in Damascus, the Observatory said Syrian human rights. “Hassan Jaafar al-Qasir, son-in-law of Hassan Nasrallah, is one of the two Lebanese victims of the Israeli raid which targeted an apartment in a residential building in the Mazzé district of Damascus.”
A source close to Hezbollah confirmed this information to AFP and specified that Hassan Jaafar al-Qasir was the brother of Jaafar al-Qasir, responsible for the transfer of weapons from Iran to Lebanon, which Israel announced it had killed Tuesday in a strike on the southern suburbs of Beirut.
