The campaign to help protect farms and herds against wolf predation aims to better protect the activities of breeders from the presence of predators.
It aims to financially support herd breeders by implementing protective measures by offsetting the additional costs induced by changes in practices: reinforced guarding, protection dogs, electrified fences, studies and technical support. Among these measures, aid can amount to up to 80% of the costs of protection dogs or electrified fences.
To benefit from this aid, you must respond to the national call for projects, open from January 1 to July 31, 2025, online on the Safran website.
-To facilitate the submission of electronic requests, a hotline (09.74.99.74.41) is also opened by the Services and Payment Agency to support applicants in their process.
