THE The 16th finals of the French Men's Basketball Cup pit the ASC Tour against Val de Seine Basket.
This Saturday morning, the emphasis was placed on getting to know Val de Seine Basket. A one-hour video session was organized to dissect the opponents' strategies and try to decipher them.
Frédéric Egalgi, captain and president of the team, underlines the importance of this preparation. « The video session allows us to understand the match, to know the faults and qualities of the opponent and to be able to use them. There, we will still play against a high-level team, with players who are very consistent. So, if we can better understand movements, shots, systems and throw-ins, that will be a plus. »
Club member Florian Horth is getting ready. « You shouldn't put pressure on yourself. We have to go represent Guyana and play humbly : be simple and listen to what the coach says. Normally everything should be fine. » As for the other matches the formula does not change, for him as for other players : a little rest, a few massages just before the match.
-Deprived of some of its key players, the team nevertheless says it is confident and united.
We are ready to stick together and do the work that needs to be done.
