The case had caused fear This Monday, January 20, 2025, the trial of Kamel R. opened before the Paris criminal court. This 24-year-old man had attempted to rape a magistrate in Créteil (Val-de-Marne) in 2022. The individual had also attempted to attack two other women. He faces a sentence of 15 years of criminal imprisonment.
Drag for several meters
The events took place on October 21, 2022. Not far from the Créteil judicial court, the accused attacked a random woman, a magistrate within the court. The latter was allegedly dragged for several meters by the individual who also ripped off her clothes. It is ultimately through the intervention of passers-by that the intervention stops.
-Two other women attacked
Kamel R. did not stop there, however. The accused violently attacked two other women. He was finally overpowered by other passers-by and arrested by the police. The victim magistrate was taken into care in a state of shock. The audience is scheduled to last until January 22, 2025.
