The inhabitants of Saint-Pierre-de-Mons (Gironde) remain faithful to this first meeting of the year, that is to say the wishes of the municipality. Patrick Labayle spoke about the projects. Finances

On the financial side, “the year 2025 will be complicated, among other things on the municipal level, with budgetary constraints: we will face theobligatory expenses by continuing to maintain our heritage,” specifies the mayor.

For your information, this year, there will be a census in the village, from January 16 to February 15, and it will be carried out by the two former deputies.

Concerning community life, the mayor mentioned the Union Sportive Pierre-Monsoise which is coming back to life with, initially, young footballers who will be able to return to the stadium from the spring. For the moment, they are using the facilities in Coimères and Preignac, which the mayor thanks.

School, a priority

In Saint-Pierre-de-Mons, school is a priority. A moment which marked the mayor in 2024: “in July, the pupils of small and medium section gave me a fresco representing the dove of peace, it found its place in the municipal council room” rejoices the mayor , who appreciated Yannis's paintings depicting the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The mayor also thanked the two former deputies, Françoise Michalelo, José her husband and Marie-Andrée Labrouche who repainted the inscriptions on the war memorial.
