Erica Faure (Julie de Bona), 41, is a successful writer of detective novels. Returning to her hometown to empty the house of her deceased parents, she discovers the lifeless body of Alexandra, her childhood best friend, with her veins cut. Convinced that it is not a suicide, Erica launches into an investigation where past and present intertwine. However, it is above all his meeting with Captain Patrick Saab (Grégory Fitoussi) which will turn his life upside down.
