As the Maison & Objet trade show opens its doors this morning at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition center, with its 2,400 participants, its maze of stands spread over seven halls, the best of design is on display until Sunday in the capital . The two events are intended to be complementary, thus extending the experience in the city with a very specialized selection of showrooms and galleries. “ On this occasion, we select the 100 most beautiful addresses of Parisian decoration, 101 to be exact. The objective is to highlight Parisian creativity around strong programming : new places, astonishing proposals, prominent designers », explains Pierre Gendrot, coordinator and curator of Maison & Objet in the City.
For this, the latter does not hesitate to wander the streets of Paris to identify the good addresses, to encourage this or that gallery to participate in the event… His favorites: the furniture…
