Gabriel understands that Thomas no longer loves him
Thomas explains to Kilian that he is fine and that the breakup with Gabriel does not affect him as much as he would have thought. However, Kilian notices that Thomas is still wearing his wedding ring, which makes him think that he is not completely ready to move on from divorce.
Gabriel has forgotten some files in his apartment and Jennifer offers to go get them so that he avoids meeting Thomas. Despite everything, Gabriel remains convinced that reconciliation is still possible.
Gabriel finds Thomas at the apartment, and he notices that the latter is no longer wearing his wedding ring. Thomas assures him that their story is indeed over. Gabriel, desperate, tries to hold him back, but Thomas remains inflexible and walks away.
Gabriel returns to the office and confides to Samuel that he is certain that Thomas will not come back, because he no longer loves him. Gabriel ends up breaking down in tears.
Vadim is under arrest
Morgane tries to find the snake, while Ariane becomes anxious, terrified of the reptiles. The colleagues arrive on site, and Morgane manages to capture the snake and put it in a bag.
Morgane identifies the breed of snake that bit Wesley and believes that he would have had time to call for help. However, Charlotte informs Patrick that Wesley was hit in the back of the head before being bitten. Morgane then understands that someone intentionally attacked him and let the snake finish the job.
Nisma confronts Vadim, telling him of Wesley’s death. She thinks it was Wesley who tried to attack Vadim a few days earlier.
Charlotte goes to the police station to share new information with Ariane and Morgane.
Shortly after, Ariane knocks on Vadim’s door and tells him that Wesley’s fingerprints were found in his room after the attack. She concludes that Vadim had a motive for revenge and decides to place him under arrest.
Eric announces his resignation to Blanche
Bahram confides to Eric that he is touched by his proposal, but he fears that his family in Iran will discover the truth. Eric explains to him the risks they would run if they were discovered, which makes Bahram hesitant: he does not want to put Eric in danger. He asks her for time to think.
Éric reveals his marriage proposal to Blanche and announces his resignation to protect the association. Blanche worries about the repercussions and fears that Eric will end up in prison. She asks him if he has feelings for Bahram, but Eric reassures her that they are just friends.
