Liam is at the hospital to collect his deceased grandmother’s belongings. Chloe tries to be supportive and he tells her that his parents just flew back and forth from Singapore to be at the funeral. He also tells the nurse that to think of something else, he is doing research on the forgotten heroes of French literature. Chloé advises him not to be alone and to come see her if he feels the need.

In the street, Jordan makes Violette jump by catching up with her; she tells him that she is stressed and has the impression of being followed.
