Claude Poirier makes a heartbreaking revelation about his personal life

Last October, Claude Poirier celebrated his 86th birthday, still displaying the same frankness, his colorful expressions and an impressive memory. True to himself, he addresses the defining moments of his career, whether glorious or more difficult, with transparency and without filter, through eight captivating 30-minute episodes.

It was the Témoin channel which unveiled a highly anticipated documentary series: “ Poirier, the will ». This series retraces the exceptional journey of Claude Poirier, the famous legal columnist who left his mark on the Quebec media landscape.

Whether it is his radio appearances, his notable appearances on television or the multiple events that have marked his life, Claude Poirier takes an enlightened and critical look at his professional career and his accomplishments.

As reported in the Montreal Journal he is transparent even with his personal life which he considers to have failed.

”Claude has a daughter, Maryse, and is the grandfather of three daughters. For the first time, he also became the great-grandfather of a boy named Enzo. “It’s certain that I’m getting back together a little with my daughter and the children. And then there is Andréa, who is an extraordinary woman. We’ve been together for 30 years, and we were married for 27 years,” he says. When it comes to his everyday life with his family, Claude doesn’t cut corners. “I say it and I repeat: I failed in my personal life.” Even if he doesn’t have an easy smile and he confides that his daughter thinks he’s grumpy, he’s unique to say the least.”
