Viewers will follow their adventures, from the very first sight to the most crucial moments. After having exchanged their “yes” (or sometimes a “no” which would immediately end the experience), the couples will try to discover each other and build a lasting relationship during a honeymoon full of emotions.
Only one couple last season
Last year, the show offered us its share of twists and turns. Let’s take the case of Audrey and Michaël: the latter had decided to end their relationship during their honeymoon. However, they finally gave each other a second chance… before separating for good. Or even Benjamin and Hélène, who, despite saying “yes” to the mayor, never managed to develop the slightest complicity. Their honeymoon had even ended… each on their own.
“I only do it with one hand, quickly quickly and it’s good like that”: a relationship doomed to failure in “Married at First Sight”?
As for the first homosexual couple on the show, Romain and Kevin, things were hardly simpler. Despite Kevin’s efforts to make their marriage work, they decided not to pursue the experiment.
Tiziana and Jean-Philippe, for their part, had tried to overcome the distance and the fact that they each had children. Eventually, they reached a compromise but a few weeks after the end of the show, they announced their breakup. Lucas and Estelle are the great exception. From their first meeting at the commune, an alchemy was established between them. Today, they are still together and are the only couple to have continued their marriage.
