The Rock will make his first ever WWE NXT show.
Indeed, following his appearance for the premiere of WWE RAW on Netflix, The Rock announced he will be at NXT New Year’s Evil 2025 on January 7, 2025. This WWE NXT show will be broadcast on CW Network in the United States and will be the very first NXT event on Netflix for many viewers outside the USA, so a major guest is needed for this premiere.

This episode of NXT will take place at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, not far from yesterday’s RAW show. Now everyone is wondering why The Rock will be in NXT. For the moment, it is impossible to have the official answer to this question.
We must not forget that Eddy Thorpe will be in the NXT championship match against Trick Williams and Oba Femi. Eddy Thorpe cheated on and attacked Ava, The Rock’s daughter and NXT General Manager, on a few occasions. So maybe the Rock will be there to avenge his daughter.
