Author Marie-Andrée Labbé made sure to offer us a return of the holidays that lived up to our expectations with STAT. The episodes that you will see starting Monday, January 6 will not leave anyone unscathed, while the fate of several characters is threatened.
Let’s start by telling you that, even though we now know the truth, we won’t tell you if there are any deaths in these episodes. We certainly don’t want to spoil your viewing. Here’s what we CAN tell you…
First, regarding “less serious” things, know that it is from Wednesday that you will be able to learn more about the arrival of Claude Coupal (Caroline Néron) as director of Saint-Vincent and the dismissal of Pascal St-Cyr (Normand D’Amour) as director of professional services. This changing of the guard won’t happen without a bit of fire, as you can imagine. Raphaël St-Vincent (Antoine Bertrand) will therefore take up more space in the plot.
As for the medical cases that will occupy this first week, there is that of Anne-Marie Bernard (Isabelle Giroux), a hypochondriac patient who arrived in Saint-Vincent producing toxic fumes. The answer regarding his case could well come from a person we did not expect to see stand out in this matter. There is also Vicky Thibault (Laurence Latreille), finally out of her coma after a landslide, who seems to have lost her memory. She therefore does not remember that she was fleeing her violent partner at the time of her misadventure. Finally, three men will enter Saint-Vincent, visibly very intoxicated after an evening of partying. One of them is unconscious (Brian Piton) while his friends, two “ Nobel Prize » to be classified as alpha males, laughing like happy idiots, as if there was nothing serious. The fiancée (Catherine St-Martin), who was waiting for her lover to return after her bachelor party, will have an unpleasant surprise.
Meanwhile, as we thought, Tristan Rhéaume (Steve Gagnon) will have an important role to play in the drama that takes place at Steve Joliceur’s (Marc Beaupré) home. He will arrive at his friend’s house, after not being able to reach him by telephone. These are the first minutes of Monday’s episode. He will have the surprise of a lifetime, discovering the scene that you all know. The victims Delphine and Philippe (Virginie Ranger-Beauregard and Patrick Labbé) and the attacker, still in psychosis, will be rushed to Saint-Vincent, where the staff, in shock, will work to save the broken people. Loved ones will be called, emotions will be at their peak. Essentially, the first two episodes of mid-season will be devoted to the aftermath of this case.
These are images that will remind you that doctors must often continue to provide the best care, even when their personal lives take a turn for the worse. The future could be difficult for some…
Your heart will definitely be racing as you watch this holiday return, which couldn’t be more captivating. At the top of their game, all the actors involved will amaze you. There is no false note here, both in terms of Marie-Andrée Labbé’s screenplay, the direction, and the acting of the talented cast. No doubt, STAT will make an impression at the start of the year. Looking forward to the sequel!
It’s a meeting, Monday to Thursday, starting January 6 at 7 p.m. on -.
