Here it all begins continued to surprise in 2024: three major events left their mark. Note the prolonged absence of Teyssier, temporarily replaced as director of the Institute; the departures of emblematic characters like Salomé and Laetitia; or the arrival of Alice Wiesberg. Nostalgia in ITC with the retro 2024
This year has been difficult in terms of departures, some have affected us more than others. Personally, I really miss David, Salomé and Laetitia.
– Departure of David (Liam Hellmann) for Spain: At the end of June, David received a job offer from FC Madrid, leading him to leave the Institute and his friends to pursue his career in Spain. He was able to leave thanks in particular to Hippolyte Du Chesnay who redeemed himself in his own way.

– Salomeplayed by Aurélie Pons, decides to leave the Institut Auguste Armand to embark on a new culinary project in Brittany. She decided to open her own restaurant and develop her cuisine in a new environment, thus marking her departure from the Institute. And a few months later, she separated from Gaetan, the long-distance relationship did not last.
Bye bye Salomé…for new adventures
– In October 2024, Laetitia Rigaultplayed by Florence Coste, receives an offer to become a maître d’hôtel in a prestigious Parisian palace. After hesitation linked to her relationship with Stanislas, she finally decides to accept the position. His farewell to the Institute was moving.

We don’t forget the departure of Kelly who joined Salomé in Brittany and Thibault who went to Cardone’s school in Lille, preferring to get away from Jasmine.

Alice a surprising new teacher!
Alice Wiesberg is a character introduced in May 2024 in the series “Here it all begins”. She is played by actress Noémie Zeitoun
Alice stands out for her rigorous teaching approach and her atypical behavior, destabilizing both students and her colleagues. Alice has Asperger’s syndrome, a form of autism. It’s a bit fashionable to bring these atypical characters into series (in Tomorrow Belongs to Us we have Timothée). ITC brought us another autistic character, Malo, Gaspard’s brother. What is certain is that Alice becomes endearing over the course of the episodes: her friendship with Stanislas and Hortense is astonishing and what can we say about her sex-friends romance with Gaëtan. Alice stands out from the other teachers, she’s a good choice and the actress turns out to be very good.

The absence of Teyssier: it was hard!
Emmanuel Teyssierplayed by Benjamin Baroche, was absent from the series “Here it all begins” for approximately four months, from June to early November 2024. In the plot, his character had gone to Paris to open a pastry shop with his daughter Charlène , in collaboration with chef Delobel. But what did we miss during his 4 months!

Benjamin Baroche needed a break from the character of Teyssier. He took the opportunity to film the mini-series “ Nothing erases you“, an adaptation of the eponymous novel by Michel Bussi. He admits that “It’s a real blessing to be able to leave and come back. » We can’t imagine ITC without Teyssier…the two are linked! For the moment, no one has his charisma…we’ll have to find that rare gem if Benjamin Baroche decides to leave the series!
