On December 4 in Here it all begins (TF1, 6:35 p.m.), Maya and Quentin get closer, Enzo has a brilliant idea to help Anaïs and Antoine is perhaps Carla's father…
In the episode ofHere it all begins from Wednesday December 4, 2024, Leonard (Thomas Vilan) brings Maya (Alexandra Favalli) and Quentin (Tristan Bowles) to the Workshop to help them. He feels that communication is going poorly between the brother and sister, and therefore encourages them to do an activity together related to Christmas. Quentin, who regrets having hurt his sister the day before by refusing to decorate the Christmas tree with her, asks him to prepare a kurisumasu keki, a traditional Japanese Christmas cake. Maya, delighted, agrees to spend the afternoon with him.
The afternoon between brother and sister is going wonderfully. Around the kurisumasu keki, Quentin shares childhood memories with Maya, revealing to her that when she was little, she couldn't stand to fail. Because for example, she hated riding a bike because she wasn't good at it. Maya says she still doesn't know how to ride a bike, which gives her brother an idea: he offers to teach her the next day. For his part, Leonard is a little depressed. Although he is happy that Maya is spending time with his brother, he feels lonely. Maya is his only family, after all…
Enzo has a brilliant idea to help Anaïs
At the CDI, Anaïs (Julie Sassoust) is depressed. On the advice of her doctor, she spends all her time listening to children”s sounds, such as a dog barking or a train whistle. She finds it mind-numbing, and she feels like she will never succeed to get used to her new devices. Enzo (Azize Diabaté) and Vic (Lou Ladegaillerie) offer to help her identify certain sounds, but the young woman doesn't even want to try. The prospect of never being able to work in the brigade again because of his deafness takes its toll…
Worried, Enzo confides in Jude (Galaad Quenouillère) and Mattéo (Louis Bouquet) about Anaïs. He's sad to see his friend in such pain, but he doesn't know what to do to help her. Mattéo says that when his grandmother lost her hearing, he used to play her favorite music. Strangely, Léonine loved it and started singing.
Inspired, Enzo goes into the kitchen during service and
records all sounds possible : the egg that breaks, the meat that cooks, the pan that falls… He even asks Jude to shout instructions to his brigade so that Anaïs can listen to him again. At the end of the day, Enzo asks Anaïs to play guessing the sounds he has recorded. Anaïs loses, not feeling good, but quickly gets into the game. She knows that it can really help her with her hearing rehabilitation!
Angèle is more and more present at the Institute
Early in the morning, Bérénice (Bérénice Tannenberg) tries to approach Carla (Aaricia Lemaire), who appears very distant.
The young woman is still angry with him for having been unpleasant with Angèle (Ginnie Watson) during lunch the day before. Bérénice explains that she was afraid that Angèle would try to twist her brain. Indeed, the market gardener does not only have good intentions. She blackmails Rose (Vanessa Demouy) by threatening to give Carla an old notebook that she kept during her pregnancy, in which Rose said she did not want to keep her baby…
In the management office, Olivia (Virginie Caliari) suggests to Marc (Stéphane Blancafort) and Teyssier (Benjamin Baroche) to organize an exam called “From the ground to the plate”. The students will have to harvest the ingredients for their dish at the Angeline farm, then cook them. They will then be judged on their recipe, but also on the size and harvest of their vegetables. Knowing full well that Rose won't like this, Marc tries to oppose it.
Unfortunately, Teyssier finds the idea very good and validates it.
Antoine is perhaps Carla's father
For her part, Bérénice goes to see Rose. She explains to him that she told Carla the truth about Angèle's intentions and the notebook. Carla hastened to leave for the farm… Panicked, Rose tries to catch up with her daughter but when she arrives at Angèle's house, she learns that Carla has already passed by. She got the notebook and is probably already reading it. At the Institute, Carla is indeed going through the pages written by her mother. There she discovers how unstable Rose was when she was pregnant with her, but not only that. Apparently, Rose had doubts about the identity of the father of her child. It might not be Raphaël (Bruno Madinier). Upset, Carla collapses into Bérénice's arms…
Shortly after, Rose returns to the Institute. Carla immediately goes to find her and gives her back her notebook, with tears in her eyes. She then demands Rose to tell her the truth. Who was the lover with whom she had an affair nine months before she was born? Back against the wall, Rose admits that it is Antoine (Frédéric Diefenthal). It is therefore possible that he is Carla's real biological father.
