Orange: removal of five new channels in the Famille by CANAL offer

If you are an old or new subscriber to Canal+ via one of its most comprehensive offers offering access to several streaming services, you probably already know that on January 1, Disney+ will disappear.

Unsurprisingly, these customers will not be the only ones affected by the clear desire of the big-eared firm to withdraw from the bouquets where it is present, in order to go it alone. This will therefore also be the case for subscribers to the Famille by Canal d’Orange bouquet, who will lose no less than five channels.

A bouquet of ever more limited interest for the youngest

Orange announced the news via an email to its subscribers. The price charged, which can be at least €5 per month for those who have been able to benefit from it, remains unchanged. However, Famille by Canal will lose the following channels on December 31: National Geographic, National Geographic Wild, Disney Channel, Disney Channel +1 and Disney Junior.

The ISP specifies that it is possible to unsubscribe, but that it will then be impossible to subscribe again, the offer having been stopped in September 2020 at Orange. Six channels had already been withdrawn in 2022 (MCM, RFM TV, Canal J, TiJi, Gulli Max and TRACE Latina). Remember, however, that Free recently offered this pack to its subscribers to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Canal+.
