Eight out of twelve! After a catastrophic outcome at the end of season 18 of Love is in the meadowon M6, the 19e is placed under the sign of love at first sight. With eight farmers as a couple out of the twelve participants, it’s “a crazy, incredible year” according to the irremovable matchmaker Karine Le Marchand. And even a record for six seasons.
This Monday, December 2, 2024, she presented the last part of the review of the season, like a camp director in a campsite near Arcachon where all the candidates were invited to talk about their cathodic adventure, inevitably unforgettable, and to take stock of their romantic situation.
Flavie's health in question
In the more than half-full glass of this vintage labeled “great love”, we find our friendly Manche farmer. In the first part of the report, broadcast on November 25, it was even him and the chosen one of his heart who inaugurated the tête-à-tête with Karine Le Marchand. “The youngest has become one of the mascots of Love is in the meadowthis tender breeder found his other half in the person of the sparkling Flavie. »
First question for the lucky lady, short hair, always dapper: how is your health? “It's getting better, I'm nearing the end of my treatment, I only have just more chemo to do. The hair grows back…”, retorts the young Breton with a smile.
Operated on for a malignant, cancerous tumor in her shoulder, Flavie had to undergo “preventive chemotherapy. A test for her and for Valentin, who had shown great courage and unfailing support.” The Manchois then confides in his fear of illness, even though he barely knew his suitor. It’s also an opportunity to talk about your difficulty in expressing your feelings.
A romantic weekend
The show then reveals images of their organized weekend.
I'm in love, yes, but for me it's complicated because it's not a common start to a relationship. The disease is there, there is no choice. It stirs up a lot of things. I lost my father early, it brings back all the bad memories…
Tears stream down her plump face. “I try not to let him see…” Flavie reveals with emotion that “he came with me to the first chemo, I really appreciated it”. Comments on which the M6 star wants to respond: “He is a man of very strong valuesIt's true. » Before rewinding the thread of their love story and judging his personality: “You really give off immediate sympathyeveryone talks to me about you, you’ve made me smile from the start. »
What about Ilona, the second contender? “I didn’t find her the same on the farm as I was at speed dating. She wasn't defending her piece of fat! Still behind, she didn't stand out. » Valentin explains that he chose Flavie, the daughter of farmers, from the second day of stay at the farm, which delighted Grandma Solange.
Employed on a permanent contract in a supermarket “an hour and 45 minutes’ drive away”, the 21-year-old young woman is on sick leave for a few more weeks. Does what happens next scare them a little? “Seeing us only at the weekend can be good because everything went a little quickly…”
“You’re talking about a tchulotte!” »
After the tears comes the time for laughter, on the occasion of this famous weekend in the company of an M6 film crew. The scene at the beauty salon turns comical, with the disposable thong to put on before the massage. “You’re talking about a tchulotte, that’s not the best comfort!” »
Enough to get a few last tasty tirades: “It’s my first time and I’m ticklish! It's very rare that anyone takes care of me, I'm not used to this that they fiddle with me like a piece of fruit on the display. » Flavie is delighted with this moment together which “allows us to escape, given the current context. Rest, gentleness, it’s perfect.”
Return to Arcachon for some secrets about the future. If the Manchois does not see himself married in five years because “there are too many people to invite”, he hopes to become a father. How many children? “Two or three, because there are twins in his family…” – “It depends on what comes out,” laughs Valentin, causing Karine Le Marchand to burst out laughing.
Be happy the way you are, because you are so cute. Your commitment to Flavie taught us a great lesson, thank you for your generosity, we are so proud!
Their quarter-hour assessment ends with a message of prevention from the young woman: “I advise people to get tested, do not hesitate to go see the appropriate doctors. We must consult and make donations to support cancer research. It can affect everyone…”
