Koh-Lanta 2024: here are the 3 candidates in the final for the posts after the orientation test

the essential
Five candidates were still in the running for the “Koh-Lanta” orientation test in the episode broadcast Tuesday evening on TF1. The three fastest qualify for next week's pole event.

There were five of them for three places on the posts. The last five Koh-Lanta candidates – Cécile, Jacques, Charlotte, Ilyesse and Thibault – embarked on the orientation test on the Philippine island where the season of “The Cursed Tribe” takes place. With only a map and a compass in hand.

In the orienteering test, the rules of the game are immutable. Three zones were defined with three remarkable elements: the brown stones, the perforated wood and the white tree. Candidates had to locate the element of their choice. Once found, you had to find a beacon within a 20 pace radius, bearing a number and a color. The number corresponded to a number of steps, the color to a direction. To find out the color code linked to the direction, the candidates had to go down to the beach to consult the orientation table then return to the scene of the remarkable element. With the number of steps and the color, all that remained for each candidate was to find a buried dagger. Before, finally, returning to the beach and planting this dagger in a totem.

Jacques was the first to find its remarkable element: the white tree. In the space of half an hour, the five candidates located the three play areas. But returning to the scene, Jacques was no longer able to return to the white tree. After an hour, Yliesse, Thibault and Charlotte were looking for their color-coded dagger while Jacques and Cécile were still empty-handed.

Thibault was the fastest

It was ultimately the Corsican farmer Thibault who first found his dagger in 1 hour 23 minutes. It was buried under one of the many stones that covered a beach. The candidate said he was proud “for my wife, for my children and for the Corsican people”. The student from Seine Saint-Denis Ilyesse was the second fastest candidate in 3h03. Happy, the candidate who “worked hard to get there”, did not realize his feat: “The greatest happiness”, “I am on cloud nine”.

Ilyesse's journey please…

– The guy loses the first test.

– he is in prison on the cursed island.

– he manages to get out of this mess.

– He's a machine in the events, he manages to take these yellows

And today he is at the posts.

Nearly 5h of research

Belgian criminologist Charlotte, who was looking for the dagger in the same area, had to start from scratch and change research areas. She joined Jacques and Cécile, leading the three adventurers to search a few meters away. It was ultimately Charlotte who found the dagger after 4 hours and 53 minutes. She confided that she had experienced the most difficult ordeal of her “Koh-Lanta”.

The three finalists – Thibault, Ilyesse and Charlotte – are all former members of the yellow tribe. The pole test will be broadcast Tuesday December 3 at 9:10 p.m. on TF1. The candidate who remains standing on the posts the longest will choose their opponent in the final. The winner will be chosen by a final vote of the candidates eliminated during the season.
