BURGER KING® AND KFC® sign the collaboration of the century – BURGER KING – BUZZMAN

From November 27, BURGER KING® and KFC® France are launching a historic collaboration, a world exclusive, with the joint creation of a brand new burger available only in France: the BFF burger (Best Friends Forever). With a flame-grilled meat version exclusively at BURGER KING® and crispy chicken exclusively at KFC®.

From November 27 to December 16, the two brands decided to put their rivalry aside in order to jointly launch the “BFF burger” in all their restaurants in France (555 for BK, 379 for KFC®). An original and exclusive burger, with a common recipe but a major difference: it will be available with flame-grilled meat exclusively at BURGER KING® France and crispy chicken exclusively at KFC® France.

To announce this improbable collaboration, the brands saw the big picture.

First with a surprising teasing in restaurants where, for 3 days, customers of each brand have been able to observe strange anomalies in their favorite restaurants: KFC® buckets at BK, BK cups at KFC®, placemats KFC® at BK, BK burger packaging at KFC®,…
A “mindfuck” also pushed on last Sunday evening with the broadcast of enigmatic 6sec in which we find BK and KFC® teammates dancing together, without any explanation. Enough to arouse curiosity and drive everyone crazy.

Today, the two brands are finally lifting the veil on this operation, by doing what no one imagined they would do: becoming the best friends in the world for the duration of an operation.

An unthinkable friendship between the two brands pushed into national displays (OOH and DOOH), on their social networks, and also featured in a crazy TV film which features the music “ Why can’t we be friends? » from War, where we find employees singing in unison, arm in arm.

The campaign was imagined and orchestrated by Buzzman, with the collaboration of Havas on social media, and mediated by the agencies Wavemaker and Havas Media.
