Teddy Riner and his partner Luthna Plocus will soon be on our screens. Netflix announced that the couple would host the French version of the reality show “Love is Blind“, which is scheduled for release in 2025.
Teddy Riner in a reality TV show? According to information from Parisianthe judoka, five-time gold medalist at the Olympic Games would have been chosen by Netflix to host, with his partner Luthna Plocus, the French version of “Love is Blind” (“Love is blind” in French).
Falling in love without looks mattering
Appearing in 2020 in the United States, the principle of the show is simple: find love, without physical appearance being a criterion. It is therefore blind, installed in capsules, that around thirty singles get to know each other over several days. During discussions it is therefore impossible for participants to see each other.
The only way to achieve a physical meeting: the marriage proposal. For couples who pass this stage, the adventure continues through a trip. After filming in Sweden, filming is currently taking place in Morocco.
Parents of two children, Luthna Plocus and Teddy Riner met in 2007, in Rio, during a world judo championship. Nearly 18 years later, it is on Netflix that the couple will appear side by side as hosts, with the show scheduled for release in 2025.
