It’s back-to-school conference season. That of TF1 took place yesterday. After announcing the good results, the group outlined its new 2024-2025 releases, including as much fiction and entertainment as possible.

Tradition obliges, the bosses of the group TF1 were present this Thursday, June 27 to salute the very good results of the channels and the new TF1+ platform, on the one hand, and to give a taste of what viewers will be offered from next September.

“Our permanent objective is simple: to work on new and ever more similar products and to safeguard the essential nature of the TF1 offer. To achieve it, we use all our channels to develop our brands, rely on the strength and depth of our catalog, favor long bursts with powerful storytelling, new and strong formats, supported by external and in-house talents.recalls the group’s deputy general director, Ara Aprikian, before adding: “In summary: making the TF1 group the essential reference for news and entertainment, across all media”.

Fiction and entertainment

Concretely, if the news, magazine and sports appointments are experiencing relatively little change, the group is focusing on fiction and entertainment. Anne Didier, in charge of fiction, confirms the continuation of HPI , the second part of season 4 of which will be broadcast in September and season 5 the following year. Note that the series carried by Audrey Fleurot will be the subject of an American adaptation, called High Potential and played by Kaitlin Olson. Replacing (JoeyStarr), The nanny (Booder), Mademoiselle Holmes (Lola Dewere), Arianne’s thread (Chantal Ladesou), Master Crimes (Muriel Robin), Sam (Helen of Fougerolles) and Panda (Julien Doré), in particular, are returning or have already returned to production.

Anne Didier thus confirms the craze for police and legal comedies, to which new rather polished brands will soon be added. Among them: They gave him with Didier Bourdon, at the head of a very dysfunctional family law firm; Carpe Diem in which Samuel Le Bihan (and yes!) plays a former convict who has become a criminal lawyer. Having become a lawyer, he is renowned for his effective methods but not always on the right track. But also Mr Parisot derived from Camping Paradisin which the character played by Patrick Paroux leads investigations in the style of Hercule Poirot. Or again Joseph a comedy version of Columbo created, written and performed by Lucien Jean-Baptiste. Not to mention Flashback by the authors of HPI, and starring Michael Youn and Constance Gay in a father-daughter duo in Back to the future.

In the legal thriller genre, the fiction boss confirms that she is digging the furrow of literary adaptation. Thus, viewers will soon discover Nothing erases you based on Michel Bussi, with Gwendoline Hamon in the role of a mother who thinks she has found her son who disappeared ten years earlier on a beach. But also All the blue of the sky based on Melissa da Costa and the adaptation, for the very first time in France, of the work of the queen of Swedish crime fiction Camilla Lackbergwhose famous Erica’s Investigations. Imminent threat finally, freely inspired by the memoirs of a former Israeli secret service agent, in which Patrick Bruel runs a time trial with Natacha Lindinger to foil a planned attack on French soil.

Side entertainmentless new, necessarily, the latter lasting much longer. In addition to the few changes made to “Star Academy” where personalities from the world of entertainment will come to spend more time at the castle with the candidates, to “Koh Lanta” which will see the arrival of a cursed team between the traditional red and yellow teams, in particular, or to “The Voice” which is preparing to welcome Lara Fabian and Claudio Cappeo in its jury, the group made some great announcements. “Project H”a sort of life-size Cluedo, will be presented by Laurent Ruquier from the lounges, library and dining room of a large Ile-de-France manor. He will oversee an investigation carried out for this first season by twelve candidates including Jeanfi Janssens and Francis Perrin.

Another big new feature: «Gladiators», French adaptation of a cult American format from the 1990s. Co-presented by Hélène Manarino and Denis Brogniart, the game will feature a succession of XXL events, between total second degree and bitter competition. Ah, one more thing, we saw for you the first images of the live action adaptation of the Japanese comic book Cat’s Eyes …It’s going to be awesome!!!
