On Sunday evening, we witnessed a scene that will undoubtedly remain engraved in the annals of Occupation Double when the deliberation to determine the identity of the 4th couple to participate in the final journey did not go as planned.
At this point, we already knew that the couples formed by Catherine L. and Raphaël, Kristina and Aleksa as well as Solène and Félix were going to fly to the French Alps to participate in the final trip. All that remained was to decide whether Anna and Michaël or Alix and Alex were going to accompany them.
The two couples could each choose a duo who would be at the deliberation table to defend their interests. And so we found ourselves faced with a very delicate situation with two couples sitting opposite each other who were determined not to flinch.
In the left corner, Kristina and Aleksa wanted Anna and Michaël to accompany them to the Alps. In the right corner, Solène and Félix were ready to do anything so that it was Alix and Alex who were on the trip.
What followed was the longest and epic deliberation in OD history and it was Felix’s attitude that completely stole the show.
“I tell you, I won’t flinch,” Félix declared from the outset to announce his colors. “I don’t talk anymore, it’s no longer useful. I hope there are good batteries in the camera,” he added before the show’s content producer came to get involved.
“I confirm to you that there cannot be an impasse. You are in Double Occupancy, you have to make decisions which are sometimes difficult. That’s one…thanks! », declared Jean-Philippe Perron.
“I keep my energy, I don’t talk much anymore. I’m not talking here anymore,” Félix responded when Kristina asked him to elaborate on his arguments.
Not wanting to hear anything, the 29-year-old software developer decided that nothing would change his mind. No words, no sentences, no arguments. So rather than trying to argue and find common ground, he instead opted for another tactic: that of turning a blind eye and stopping debating.
“I will not spend calories on a discussion that has been going on 10 times loop around”, notably dropped Félix in front of a Kristina completely overwhelmed by the events.

Following an impasse, the four debaters were invited to leave the table, to make way for the main stakeholders: Alix, Alex, Anna and Michaël who themselves had to choose which of their couple was going to participate in the final trip.
After a heartbreaking deliberation, it was finally Alix and Alex who obtained the last pass to the French Aples.
