This is one of the biggest clashes on TV in recent years: the one between Cyril Hanouna and LFI deputy Louis Boyard. Came in Don't Touch My Post to talk about a specific subject, the latter took advantage of his visit to talk about Vincent Bolloré, owner of Canal+. Words which were not at all appreciated by Cyril Hanouna who did not fail to remind him that he had worked on C8 and that consequently, it was Vincent Bolloré who paid him his salary.
Louis Boyard filed a complaint against Cyril Hanouna
Very angry with his former columnist, Cyril Hanouna then said his thoughts directly.
“Hey Louis, you came here because you wanted to make a splash (…) Stop telling it to yourself, elected or not elected, I don’t give a damn. You think I’m afraid of you, me (…) I received more people from Nupes here than Zemmour, you idiot! If you are an MP, it's thanks to us. (…) You are an idiot“he said to him in particular before insulting him with “tocard” and of “jester”.
Following the daily Don't Touch My PostLouis Boyard spoke on X, formerly Twitter, to announce that he was going to file a complaint against Cyril Hanouna. “Et
I will file a complaint with a thought for the millions of people who were insulted. Insulted every time TPMP invited the far right and made racist and Islamophobic remarks on their broadcasts”he wrote on the social network.
Cyril Hanouna heavily sanctioned
For his comments against Louis Boyard, Cyril Hanouna and the channel were fined more than three million euros for “Infringement of guest's rights” et
“lack of control of its antenna” inflicted by Arcom. This episode also weighed in on the decision taken by the former CSA which ruled on the non-renewal of the C8 channel from the end of next February.
Faced with the decision taken by Arcom, Cyril Hanouna and the channel decided to counterattack. An appeal to the Council of State was also made. The final decision on the future of C8 will be known shortly. The PAF star host hopes that the frequency will be renewed, which would avoid putting several employees out of work.
The trial has been postponed until next December
But before knowing more about the future of C8, Cyril Hanouna had an appointment at the Paris criminal court this Tuesday, November 12 in the company of Louis Boyard. As part of the LFI MP's complaint for “public insults“, Cyril Hanouna risks a fine of 12,000 euros, since it is an offense listed in the Penal Code.
Except that this meeting ultimately did not take place… Louis Boyard's lawyer, Jade Dousselin, was held in another hearing at the same time. She therefore requested a postponement of the trial. A request which was accepted by the court. The new date has therefore been set for next Tuesday, December 17.
