TDF’s objective is clear: by July, UHD should cover nearly 70% of the population to benefit in the best conditions from the broadcasts of summer sporting exploits. France 3 will also follow the trend, with broadcast in UHD planned from July 10 to September 10, 2024. The channel will be accessible on channel 53 in mainland France and on channel 23 in Overseas France.
To enjoy France 2 in UHD, viewers must go to channel 52 in mainland France and channel 22 in Overseas France. However, it is imperative to be in a compatible broadcasting area and to have a television compatible with the DVB-T2, HEVC, UHD 4K and HDR 10 standards. If necessary, an automatic or manual search for channels on the television will detect and install UHD channels.
