After being at the heart of the second season of The Bridgerton Chronicles, Simone Ashley and Jonathan Bailey have agreed to reprise their roles for the third salvo, launched in two parts on Netflix. After (finally) declaring their love, Kate and Anthony were back from their honeymoon. Warning, the following contains spoilers for the second part of season 3 of Bridgerton! In the last four episodes, Kate and Anthony announced to their family that the young woman was pregnant with her first child. Wanting to discover the origins of his wife, Anthony suggested that Kate go to India. Following this revelation, fans are wondering (logically) if they will be back for season 4 of Bridgerton, already ordered by Netflix.

To find out for sure, we asked Simone Ashley the question during the 2024 Monte Carlo Television Festival. Good news: the actress told us thatshe would be delighted to reprise her role as Kate Sharma. “I hope we get to see Kate and Anthony again! Jonathan (Bailey) and I love these characters and their relationship and what they bring to the show. We really hope to come back! I know Jess Brownell (the showrunner of the series, editor’s note) wants it too” says Simone Ashley at Tele-Leisure. As for who season 4 will focus on? The actress did not let slip a word, although she admits to already knowing the identity of the next protagonist. “I can’t wait for this to be announced” she explains to us.
