The reality TV show “Love is Blind, Habibi”, on Netflix, is facing a wave of criticism following comments made by an Iraqi candidate, Khatab, against Moroccan women. During a radio interview, he made mocking and offensive remarks, going so far as to describe the Moroccan candidate Hajar as “not Moroccan”.
This statement provoked a strong reaction on social networks, where many Moroccan Internet users denounced the candidate's behavior and expressed their support for Hajar. Simo and Hajar, the two Moroccan participants, also reacted publicly, condemning all forms of racism and affirming their attachment to their origins.

Under pressure, Khatab finally apologized, denying any desire to hurt and specifying that he had many Moroccan friends.
Remember that the principle of the show “Love is Blind, Habibi” is to allow young Arabs of different nationalities to meet and get to know each other solely through their voices, without seeing each other.
