While viewers were able to see the second and penultimate episode of “ Game Master » this Friday October 18 on TF1, the last minutes of the program have just been filmed in order to maintain the suspense as to the personality hiding behind the master of the game.
As a reminder, in this show, 12 celebrities are invited to a mysterious residence with the aim of discovering the identity of the personality who brought them together there. Only, among them, one is present to sabotage their investigations… Elsa Bois, Max Boublil, Cartman, Valérie Damidot, Frédéric Diefenthal, Arnaud Ducret and Claire Francisci-Ducret, Jeanfi Janssens, Kody, Chantal Ladesou, Sarah Mortensen and Francis Perrin have thus launched into this major investigation last Friday October 12.
Although the show was recorded in June, only 8 people knew the identity of the game master until a few days ago. “ The last five minutes of the last episode, which correspond to the moment of the reveal, have not yet been filmed. We wanted to shoot as close as possible to the broadcast », Julien Degroote, director of development and creation of the TF1 group, explained to Puremédias at the beginning of October.

The revelation was therefore filmed in small groups this week, as revealed by Déborah Huet, program director at the Fremantle production company. “ If we had shot this sequence in June, as there were a lot of us, the information could have gotten out. If I read the last page of a novel before reading the beginning, I lose all the fun. (…) We will be in a micro-team for this reveal, there will not be 80 or 100 of us like during filming in June ».
Thus, until a few days ago, neither the host of the show Laurent Ruquier, nor the candidates, nor even the Deputy General Director of Content of TF1 Ara Aprikian knew the identity of the masked celebrity. “
There are 8 of us who know exactly who is the master of the game, even Ara Aprikian doesn’t know! », had indeed revealed Julien Degroot during the program’s press conference.
If the members of the program now know who is the master of the game, viewers still have a week to investigate before the big reveal which will be made at the end of the last program broadcast this Friday, October 25.
