Among the concerns about the budget of the departmental council, which met this Friday, October 18, there is a subject that comes up because it worries: that of the new public service delegation granted to the operator Volotea to ensure the Rodez-Paris air link over the next four years.
Whatever happens with the state budget?
This amounts to 25 million euros, compared to 9.6 million euros for the previous contract with Amelia… “If we look at the two figures like that, it can be scary: but it’s not fair We do not yet have the final results but we have had to compensate for Amelia’s losses on several occasions and in the end, we will not be very far from Volotea’s 25 million”, clarified Arnaud Viala, indicating that one. meeting was planned for the coming days with the Minister of Transport (François Durovray) in order to reaffirm the State’s support of 55% in this bill.
