Charles s’accuse !

Damien goes to see Martin, convinced that it was his brother who tampered with the car. It is certain that Charles wanted to attack Victor, who was blackmailing him with the prize money. Martin thinks that Julien, the cellar master of the estate, could be his accomplice.

Rachel apologizes to Timothée for his outburst the day before, admitting that he was ultimately right about Charles’ behavior. Timothée replies that he cannot stay with her, because he has to go see his father in prison.

Victor finds Timothée in prison and tells him that he is certain that Charles will do anything to get out of this, even if he has to use his brother. Timothée assures him that Damien will do his job well and that he is impartial. Victor understands that his son does not abandon him and always remains by his side.

Julien’s alibi is retracted, and Sara then questions the cellar master, asking him to collaborate or face a harsh decision from the judge. Julien replies that he can’t say anything, but Sara insists, explaining that he risks taking responsibility for the person he protects. Sara then decides to place him in police custody.

Charles realizes that it was Philippine who tampered with his own car. She admits to having attacked Victor because he had first tried to attack her. She also explains that she paid Julien, her cellar master, to do what she wanted.

Sara meets Philippine and Charles, and asks to speak to the latter. Charles then decides to protect his mother by claiming that it was he who set the estate on fire and tampered with Victor’s car. Taking his mother in his arms, he asks her to pass the message to Julien.

Charles confesses everything to Sara and makes her believe that Julien only tampered with the brakes and the electrical panel. Julien confirms Charles’ version.

Martin announces to Timothée that his father will be released from prison thanks to Charles’ confession.

Philippine defends Charles, while Violette and Damien are very angry at his attitude. Philippine asks them to stay united as a family. Damien explains to Philippine that his love for his son was so destructive that Charles ended up in prison.
