The team investigates and uncovers a sophisticated vehicle theft network using cutting-edge technology. Suspicion falls on Diana, an electronics store employee, and her boyfriend Max Fontana. But the latter is found dead, complicating the case. An undercover operation at a charity gala leads to Diana’s arrest. Meanwhile, Jesse, recovering from his injuries, aspires to become a detective. The series does not lose the energy of its staging in this quite poignant finale. If the plot around the car theft network appears to be conventional, with some narrative heaviness, the episode gains emotional power by focusing on the fate of Jesse, seriously injured, deepening the psychological and interpersonal dimension of the series.

Hudson and Rex : will there be a season 6?
If this is already the end of season 5 of the Canadian series, don’t panic! Hudson and Rex has a season 6 under its belt. These new adventures have already been broadcast in Canada since October 2023. This season has 15 episodes but only have been offered across the Atlantic. In the first episode of this new salvo, it will be about an investigation into the disappearance of a crew of a whale watching boat which mysteriously returned to port without its passengers. Charlie and Rex must find the missing tourists.
