Roxane seeks to make amends
Between Sara and Roxane, the atmosphere is always tense. In order to make amends, Roxane offers to go shopping and prepare dinner this evening.
At the police station, she takes advantage of her break to look for a recipe. She asks Timothée’s opinion. Not far from there, at the Spoon, Sara confides to Bart that his wife is very considerate towards her, a little too much even. Bart points out that Roxane never said she didn’t want another child, but that she needed time. He then advises Sara to stop sulking and be patient.
Roxane’s idea inspires Timothée. He decides to prepare an apple pie for Victor to cheer him up. Victor is touched that his son is so caring.
For her part, Roxane prepared churros for dessert. She thought she would please her wife, but she is no longer hungry. Sara explains to Roxane that churros will not be enough to erase everything. Roxane confides to her wife that she no longer knows how to make her stop being angry with her. Sara explains to Roxane that she doesn’t blame her. However, this desire for a child is present in her and being the only one to feel it is complicated for her.
Renaud is preparing a surprise for Marianne
Renaud has arranged to meet Chloé at the Spoon. He is preparing a surprise for Marianne on the occasion of their wax wedding. Renaud had the idea of taking a road trip to California, but he insisted that the whole family be present. However, Bart won’t be able to come, because he’s too busy with the Spoon. Renaud shows Chloé the program of their trip.

Etienne takes Aurore hostage
Aurore is on the phone with Manon. She decided to take the day off to spend time with her daughter. Manon is delighted. Aurore informs her daughter that she must first do some shopping before going to the hospital. Then she gets in her car and drives off. She has no idea that Etienne is parked near her vehicle and discreetly follows her.
At the hospital, Bénédicte receives a visit from William. He explains to him that he tried to negotiate to extend his stay, but in vain. Convinced that Bénédicte attempted suicide last week, William encourages her to consult the prison psychologist so that she feels supported and is not tempted to do it again. Bénédicte assures her brother that this will not happen again. William then makes a touching declaration to his sister in which he confides to her that despite their past disagreements, he loves her. Bénédicte lets out a few tears and asks her brother for forgiveness.
Timothée accompanies Victor who has come to take control exams. They meet Manon in the hallway. The young woman takes this opportunity to apologize to Victor for having caused this accident. Timothée’s father doesn’t hold it against him. But, her son is still angry with his friend. Victor explains to his son that this accident is partly his fault. He had his headphones on and was on the phone. He did not hear the siren of Manon’s police car. Victor then asks Timothée to be less intransigent towards his friend.
Not far from there, in the street, Etienne appears behind Aurore’s back and violently grabs her. He then leads her to his car. Upon seeing the sedan, Aurore realizes that her brother-in-law is the burglar responsible for Manon’s paralysis. Etienne assures his sister-in-law that he never intended to harm her, then under the duress of his gun, he forces Aurore to give him her phone and get into his car.
Meanwhile, Dorian and Luna hope that the plan to get Bénédicte to escape will work. They are waiting for news from Etienne.
At the hospital, the time has come for Bénédicte to leave the establishment. She is handcuffed and escorted by two corrections officers when she gets into the van. William and Manon are present and upset by the situation. Manon feels like she’s seeing her family go to pieces.
Nordine and Karim escort the van to the prison. However, on a small country road, a dark sedan forces the van to stop abruptly. Aurore and Etienne get out of the vehicle. Etienne threatens his sister-in-law with his gun and orders Karim and Nordine to drop theirs. Then he takes the two officers out of the van. Etienne then asks Karim to bring his wife out. In exchange, he will free Aurore. To prove he’s not bluffing, he fires shots into the air. Karim and Nordine place their weapons on the ground. Karim takes Bénédicte out of the van to make the exchange. He removes the handcuffs. Aurore tries to reason with Etienne, in vain. When she meets Bénédicte, Aurore ties one of her hands with a handcuff and puts a handcuff on Bénédicte’s wrist, then she declares to Etienne: “If you leave, I’ll leave with you.”
