Since August 28, 2023Julia Vignali has launched a new challenge: that of replacing Sophie Davant at the head of the show “Affaire concluded” on France 2. A show broadcast since 2017 in which strangers come to present treasures unearthed from their homes to sell at auction. A program that attracts, on average, every late afternoon a million viewers. Figures up sharply in one year.
So, this May 1st, there was no question of being unemployed… Julia Vignali and her entire team were on set. Kad Merad’s companion welcomed Angélique who came to have an old mailbox appraised by Elsa Joly-Malhomme, the auctioneer.
What was her surprise when the host, also present on Europe 1, opened the box. Inside was a sweet note for him. A yellow post-it that read: “ Julia, we love you“. Taken aback, the former presenter of “Best Pastry Chef” asked if anyone knew who the secret admirer behind the sweet message was. If the auctioneer admitted that it was a member of the production, she did not wish to reveal his identity. In fact, Luigi’s mother declined the insistent offer of another program on the channel, namely “Fort Boyard”. Guest of “Culture Médias” on Europe 1, this May 2, she explained: “I will never be able to do Fort Boyard. I couldn’t even climb the fort because I’m so dizzy.
