Season 2 of Frieren is announced!, September 30, 2024

Given the very strong and deserved popularity experienced by season 1, it would have been very surprising if the mangaka Freeze by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe has no sequel. After a few months of waiting since the end of the first season last March, the good news fell this weekend: the season 2 de Freezing is indeed in production!

No other information has been revealed at this time, except that the Madhouse studio remains in production of the animation. However, you can discover, below, a first visual as well as the announcement teaser.

Launched in Japan in 2020, the original manga has since enjoyed continued success and which has only increased with the arrival of the anime. In , it is published by Ki-oon editions. As for season 1 of the animated adaptation, it is available in France on the Crunchyroll platform.

Synopsis global of freezing:

The elf Frieren defeated the king of demons alongside the group led by the young hero Himmel. After ten years of effort, they brought peace to the kingdom. Because she is an elf, Frieren can live for over a thousand years. She goes on a trip alone, promising her friends that she will come back to see them. Fifty years later, Frieren is back, she has not changed, but these reunions are also the last moments spent with Himmel, an old man who passes away peacefully before her eyes. Saddened at not having spent more time getting to know the people she loves, she decides to resume her journey and set off to meet new people…
