In mid-August, TF1 launched the new season of The Voice Kids. In this 2024 edition, the talents discovered new coaches including Lara Fabian and Claudio Capéo. As for Patrick Fiori and Slimane, they have found their place in the famous red chair. During blind auditions, Tim, 12 anscaused a sensation among the coaches who all turned around to hope to have him on their team. Finally, the young teenager made his way with Lara Fabian. This Saturday, September 28, he performed the title to perfection Another Love by Tom Odell. Thus, the Quebec singer chose him to go to the final alongside her. For Tele-Leisurehe confides in this extraordinary adventure.
Tim (The Voice Kids 2024) was spotted on a television show
Tele-Leisure : Why did you decide to participate in The Voice Kids ?
Tim : I was spotted during a show I did in 202, the UNICEF Gala. I was spotted by a coach who was coaching me in the dressing rooms. I did this show with my choir, Les Petits Chanteurs d’Asnières. It was truly one of the craziest experiences I had at that time. Then, I decided to participate in The Voice Kids because I already had the opportunity to participate, and I knew it would open doors.
Did you hesitate before saying yes?
I hesitated. I was afraid of disappointing the choir, but in the end, I did well. I would love to be a singer when I grow up.
Do you see yourself in the adult version of The Voice ?
For now, I’m happy to be able to be final The Voice Kids. I’m happy with that for now.

The four coaches turned around during your blind audition, but it was Lara Fabian that you went to. For what ?
It was the coach who touched me the most. She was very touching in what she said to me. It was my heart that told me to go to her. Then, she had an international career.
If you hadn’t chosen Lara Fabian, who would you have continued with?
I had no real choice at the beginning. I wanted to take into account what they were going to tell me.
You sang Another Love by Tom Odell. For what ?
I chose this song because the story touches me. It’s about a man who wants to be with a woman and give her all his love, except he can’t get over his previous heartbreak. He is quite sad and tries to explain to her.
Are you happy with your performance?
I was happy but above all I was quite moved. It’s indescribable. It was moving.
Why were you moved?
It was a crazy experience. Then, all the emotions came flooding back at once. It was a bit of a way to decompress.
Which talent from your semi-final team did you fear the most?
In itself, I didn’t fear any of them. We were all friends, we weren’t in competition. We all sang equally well.

When Lara Fabian revealed that you were going to the final, how did you feel?
I was a little shocked. I was a little confused because I didn’t understand anything. It was crazy! Getting to the final is no small thing. I felt emotions coming and I cried with joy. I said thank you to my teammates, but all my body wanted to do was cry.
You were very sensitive throughout the whole adventure. Are you the same in everyday life?
I’m like that all the time. I am hypersensitive so I feel emotions ten times stronger. I have no problem with it but I cry quickly and easily. It’s also good because it allows us to dream our emotions.
What have you learned about yourself from The Voice Kids ?
I am more sensitive. I managed to make people happy. A little girl in the audience said well done to me and she was crying because she was so sensitive. I can do good to people, it makes me happy. Music is a way to forget what is happening in the world. It makes us feel good to sing and it makes us feel good to listen.
