The fate of the baby in “Witches” sows discontent among viewers

If viewers are used to loudly proclaiming their reactions to the intrigues in their favorite shows, this time, it is rather the fate of one of the actors which arouses indignation among Internet users.

In the third and most recent episode of Witchesbroadcast this Tuesday, September 24, a scene particularly shook the public, while Marie-Eve and Clovis are sequestered in a chalet. Their captor, Fred, becomes impatient with the baby’s cries, imploring him to “shut up.”

Several Internet users were concerned about the filming conditions surrounding the baby, involved in such a difficult scene.

Here are some comments collected on the Facebook page of Witches:

“I approach in the same direction as many, the scenes with the baby please explain?”

“I love this series but hill the baby is traumatized because of him screaming”

“Poor baby…. I find it incredible to do this to a child for a TV series.”

“I also don’t understand the scenes with the child”

“I am very worried about the baby. Please reassure us.”

“What are the scenes with the baby, he’s scared as hell. This is the first time I’ve seen scenes of this intensity with a baby, I’m outraged. And the parents of this child who agree to put the little one through this”

It is important to remember that the conditions on a set are very regulated, and this is even more the case when a child or even a baby is involved. The filming of scenes involving infants cannot exceed a certain, well-defined allotted time, and the baby is replaced by a doll during scenes where we cannot see his face up close. There is therefore no need to worry about Jacob Langlois, who plays Clovis.
