Anthony Delon, how writing his latest book helped him: “I needed to get these things out”
Descriptive text here

Anthony Delon is making headlines again. This time, however, it is not a question of a family quarrel with his half-sister Anouchka Delon, but of the publication of his third work entitled Bastintage. A book whose similarities with the life of Alain Delon’s eldest son are obvious, although the main subject of his novel is in reality a toxic love story. In the columns of Matchthis Thursday, March 28, Liv and Wolf’s father explains that writing this book helped him personally: “There are encounters that awaken in you the cracks of childhood, this painful emotional dependence, the fear of abandonment, self-denial to the point of self-denial…”

Anthony Delon goes even further: “Through this book, I confront my most terrible enemy: me.” A sort of autopsy that allowed him to face his past: “I was interested in talking about the faults on which we build ourselves. I needed to evacuate these things.”

Anthony Delon ready to reconcile with his sister Anouchka?

Guest this Wednesday March 27 on the set of C to you, as part of the promotion of his third book, Anthony Delon obviously mentioned his family problems, which have been the subject of much discussion since the start of 2024, or even the end of life of his father, Alain Delon . By drawing a parallel with Mathilde, the sister of the main character in his novel Bastintage, Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine also asks the author if a reconciliation between him and his half-sister Anouchka is possible. Natalie Delon’s son remains evasive, but seems to make it clear that fiction and reality are indeed two different things: ” Mathilde, my little sister in this story, I find that there is a candor in her. I find that there is something touching. And besides, we get along very well in this history.” Reconciliations therefore do not seem to be on the agenda for the moment.
