The Norwegian Timon Haugan dominates the debates before the French Steven Amiez (at 0”07) and the Brazilian Lucas Pinheiro Braathen (at 0”25).
The two Romands are not at the forefront, but they are well placed to hope to get on the box (second round at 1:30 p.m.). In a dazzling form, Tanguy Nef released a superb round to find himself at 0”49 from the Leader Timon Haugan. It is at 0”24 de Braathen and third place.
Sixteen hundredths behind the Genevan, Daniel Yule also proved that he is gaining momentum. Author of a sixth place in Wengen last weekend, Valaisan knows himself capable of doing better. In contact on the entire route, he has lost time of time on the bottom.
For his part, Ramon Zenhäusern points to 21st row after 45 passages, at the leader of the leader. He may see the end of the tunnel.
-Poor performance
This round went much less well for the other Swiss. Loïc Meillard committed a big fault on the top of the course that took him out of his race. He occupies 24th place in 1”91. Marc Rochat (27th at 2”04) and Luca Aerni (31st at 2”40) did not find the keys on this track.
Note that Henrik Kristoffersen, the leader of the Slalom World Cup, did not cross the finish line. The Norwegian rushed after the first intermediary on a line fault. It is his first elimination in discipline this winter.
