The town hall of the 12th arrondissement of Paris was hit during the night from Sunday to Monday by a spectacular fire which set its bell tower about thirty meters high ablaze, without causing any casualties, we learned from the firefighters.
The fire was “under control” shortly before 7 a.m., a spokesperson for the Paris fire brigade told AFP, which was alerted around 3:20 a.m. and deployed around sixty engines as well as 150 soldiers from the fire to combat the disaster.
