Swiss slalomers are present in Kitzbühel. Tanguy Nef and Daniel Yule are well placed at the end of the first journey. In the chain of his excellent last performances, and in particular his 4th place in Wengen, Tanguy Nef once again made a big round to sign the 5th time at 24 hundredths in 3rd place in Brazilian Lucas Pinheiro Braathen. On a freezing track at will, but which still has grip, the Genevan managed to manage the rare difficulties of the route.
He likes this Ganslern track where he won twice in the past. And Daniel Yule is once again this year. The Valaisan is just behind Tanguy Nef with the 7th time of the first round. The Fouly skier, however, accused 40 hundredths behind the podium. It was the Norwegian Timon Haugan, who started with the number 1 bib, which was the fastest. The Scandinavian is ahead of the French Steven Amiez of 7 hundredths.
Ramon Zenhäusern rebellious, Loïc Meillard in difficulty
-In difficulty this winter, Ramon Zenhäusern has signed the 21st time and could score points for the third time this season. Loïc Meillard seemed to have no hook under his ski. As in Wengen, he narrowly hooks the qualification for the second round. And if the Valaisan remained us a nice comeback to finish again in the top 5. The second layout will be picked by the coach of Swiss slalomers Matteo Joris. There are important points to seek after the elimination of the leader of the slalom Henrik Kristoffersen.
