James Crawford became the first Canadian in 42 years to win the legendary descent of the Kitzbühel alpine ski cup this Saturday in Austria. He was accompanied on the podium of his compatriot Alexander Cameron, who finished third and the Swiss Alexis Monnery finished 2nd.

First French Maxence Muzaton is 7th. Following the serious fall of Alexis Pinturault (fracture of the tibia) yesterday during the super-G, the debate on safety in descent ski opens a little more at 10 days from the Worlds of Saalbach.
