This Wednesday, January 22, while they rehearsed their performance for the showcase in the premises of NRJ, Marine and Ebony (Star Academy) offered a nice moment of sorority, broadcast during the daily on Thursday.
The tension is at its height before the grand final which will be held this Saturday evening, January 25 and will pit Marine against Ebony. The last week at the Château de Dammarie-Les-Lys was intense for the two finalists. Between two studious rehearsals for the bonus, the two young women had a foretaste of what their lives will become after this adventure of almost four months. Indeed, Marine and Ebony welcomed, on Monday January 20, the former academicians – namely Marguerite, Maureen, Franck, Charles, Emma, Maia and Ulysse – who will participate, with them, in the tour of the Star Academy which will begin on February 21. The next day, Ebony and Marine participated in their first radio broadcast, recorded live from the castle, by the teams of the national radio NRJ. On this occasion, they notably received the support of Maître Gims and Vitaa.

Wednesday January 22, Marine and Ebony already met the NRJ teams, this time, in their premises. After the recording of a studio program hosted by Camille Combal, the two finalists performed their respective first singles in the presence of an audience. During rehearsals for this showcase earlier in the afternoon, Marine worried about her opponent and friend, Ebony. Viewers discovered this lovely moment of sorority in the daily broadcast on Thursday January 23 on TF1. While Marine hummed the lyrics of Unforgettable, Ebony’s single, the Northerner spotted an important detail: “Oh there’s a word missing! It’s the wrong words on the teleprompter. It’s the old version I think”. She then rushed to find Lucie Bernardoni, their tutor, to warn her of this error.

If Ebony was not bothered by this technical problem to ensure her performance, Marine and Lucie still preferred to make the necessary modification. “Those are the wrong words on the teleprompter, that’s not what she should be singing.” Marine explained. To which Lucie replied: “You tell me, we’ll change them”. Marine, who obviously knew the words of Ebony’s song by heart, was able to respond: “It’s not ‘Never left again, on the side’ but it is ‘Never hurt again. Never left again’”. This feminine solidarity, despite the stakes of the final between them, touched Lucie a lot. “The good thing is that they are there for each other. One checks the other’s words. That’s what’s beautiful. There is a sisterhood as they say! “she noted. A great lesson in solidarity and friendship as the prime approaches!
