Sainte-Marie firefighters responded Tuesday afternoon to a fire in an agricultural garage located on Route Saint-Martin.
The call, which came in around 2:20 p.m., required a 2nd alarm as well as assistance from the Sainte-Marguerite firefighters.
The fire caused significant damage to a tractor which was inside the garage.
-The structure of the building was, however, spared, even if work to strengthen it could be necessary.
The firefighters returned to the station about two hours later.
